August 27th, 2017
Last week, we were challenged about changing one daily ‘habit’ or routine to ensure we put God first in the busyness of our life (Luke 10:38).
- It may be that you open up that dusty Bible of yours (Matt. 4:4)
- You may have chosen to find five minutes in your day to be still (Psalm 46:10)
- You may have resolved to listen to worship rather than the radio (Psalm 29:2)
- You may have elected to attend a corporate prayer meeting (1 Thess. 5:17)
The big question is … has anything changed this week?
Jesus asked, ‘Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say?’ He went on to say, ‘As for everyone who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice, I will show you what they are like. They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock’ (Luke 6:46-48).
